What is a Picture URL?
A picture URL is a string
representing the location of a picture stored on a webserver somewhere. If you
have located a suitable picture of your annoyance somewhere on the internet,
you can determine the URL of the picture by:
- Internet Explorer - Right-click
on the picture, and select 'Properties'. In the properties, note the 'Address
(URL)' (this can also be highlighted and then copied out of the dialog). Enter
this text into the Picture URL field on the 'Add Annoyance' form.
- Netscape - Right-click
on the picture, and select 'Copy Image Location'. You can now paste this address
(which is held in the clipboard) into the Picture URL field on the 'Add Annoyance'
form.
- Others - Most browsers
will permit you to acquire the location of an image using a similar means
to the previous two.
Note that your submission
will be reviewed before appearing on the site, so no pictures
containing obscenity, nudity, and/or otherwise offensive material, please!
